This forum is PG-13 rated, but it doesn’t mean, that younger people cannot join. Everyone is welcome, everyone who like to role-play, from beginners to experts. In here, you can make up your own character or use existing character.
Existing characters are canon characters from books. See our Available Canon characters topic to see, who is available. A little knowledge from books is welcomed. If you wish to find out more about chosen character, see this website for more details. Harry Potter Lexicon.
Made up character, is a character you will make up yourself. Your character needs appearance, his own history, characteristic, what he likes, hates and so. You can make it yourself or make up some.
Both characters, canon or own, can be formed through the game.

The school year is also important. The year is same as the IRL year. In the head of the forum, you can see which year is running and season. That is all…you don’t need to hold with each day. Your day can be running whole month or less than the real day. The season is there so you know what kind of weather can be expected outside. Since the school is somewhere in United Kingdom. Through the year, we have prepared fests like Halloween, Christmas, balls etc. When we will have more members, we will hold Quidditch Cup. Any of them will be put into the calendar and you will be able to see it below of the forum, as forthcoming season.
Note: Through summer (July and August) the forum will be a lot less active. Through those months, we will clean the forum, prepare it for next year. It is because through summer are vacations, school is closed and people here won’t be around so much.
Through summer school won't be visible but we have a "Summer Mode" where you can see forums with various parts of world - where the characters live - and location as Hogsmead; London - Muggle and Wizard; Diagon Alley; Knockturn Alley and others.

While you wait for others to reply, you will find here special forum called Member-to-Member talk, which is to you, as Visitor, invisible right now. There are prepared real time chats, and non real-time topics. Games as well.
