** Join with Name and Surname (middle names are allowed too).
When joining, REGISTER with FIRST and LAST name of your CHARACTER! No harrypotterfan456 or Map Reader, unless you want your character have name Map Reader. If you will state the name of your character different we will change your name into it. You will gain e-mail and will have to log in next time using the new name.
If you will join using a name that already EXIST on this board, you will be ask to change it. It will be confusing if there would be people with same names.

** No godmoding: Don't make your characters perfect. Even if wizards, they are humans, thus are not perfect. In fights, they can obtain also hits.
**No Character Abuse: Do not role-play for other characters. Unless he agrees with it.
* There are special rules for quidditch and applies only to quidditch players while the game is running.

** If you want to be a SIBLING or near family to any (canon or not) character ALREADY registered at this board, you will need to contact each member (if there are more) for permission. If one will refuse, you CANNOT become a sibling of the family and thus will need to change the name. If you want to wait before registering, contact admins of this forum, using the admin e-mail and we WILL ask for you!

** Roleplay is ran in third person only and past tense. Only when speaking or thinking, post in present tense.
Example:
He suddenly raised his hand, glancing back up at Kettleburn, "Sir - where does one go to get a Hippogriff, aren't they a level three creature? You can't exactly walk into a store and buy one..."

* USERNAMES or ACCOUNTS: Accounts with curse words will be deleted without excuse, so you have to rejoin, and accounts using number in the name will be changed and you will obtain an e-mail about it. Accounts with one name will be proceeded, and if you won't reply to our e-mail, deleted within one month.

* Maximum of three accounts per person are allowed.
Here is how to gain ability to have another character here:
a ) If you are signing up for your SECOND account.. you MUST have 150 posts and than you can go ahead and sign up;
b ) If you are signing up for THIRD account, you MUST make a request in Applications Forum and wait for approval; If we will consider that you can have third account, we will allow you, if not, than we are sorry but not.
* This rule has been updated for some of our members are unable to hold third account. Our goal is not to have loads of members, but nice smoothly running game.

* Try to make your post as long as you can. Describe each action your character does. Try to avoid mistakes, but since not all of us have first language - english - you don't need perfect grammar. Just try it to be as good as you can.
! Each post must have at least five sentences.
! Put spaces after punctuation characters ( . , ! ? " ' ) etc.

* Cursing is allowed, but don't make it a habit. This forum is PG-13 rated. Some curse words change into a @#*%. Only the worst curse words are being changed.. please try not to avoid the hidden characters. We won’t hunt you for doing it, unless you will misuse it.
-(Updated 7/25) Posts of an obscene sexual nature are asked to be moved to PMs. You can start it in a topic, and leave a note for anyone who would like to read it to send for the PM. We would just like to censor that from those who wish not to read it.

* Text formatting: Use
" " -> when talking,
' ' -> when writting a thought or you can use italics
OOC, (( )), [] -> for out of topic notes

* SIGNATURES: In signature can be only description of the character.. his appearance, characteristics, friends, enemies, personal card and such. No advertising in signatures.

* We do edit the rules from time-to-time so please make sure to check them out again. We usually post a notice about a rule update.
